‘Hugplomacy failure’ Rahul Gandhi targets PM Modi after release of Hafiz Saeed
Routing his attack to PM Narendra Modi, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday termed the release of LeT chief Hafiz Saeed a “hugplomacy failure”.
He Tweets, “Narendrabhai, baat nahin bani (Narendrabhai, it did not work). Terror mastermind is free. President Trump just delinked Pak military funding from LeT. Hugplomacy fail,” Rahul Gandhi said in a tweet on Saturday.

Rahul Gandhi’s tweet came a day after the mastermind of 26/11 attack, Hafiz Saeed, was released from house arrest after Pakistan government decided against detaining him further in any other case.
In October too, Rahul had targeted PM Modi over the failure of his hug diplomacy.
Saeed, in his late 60s, was under house arrest for 297 days since January. The fire-brand cleric’s release after midnight came ahead of the 9th anniversary of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks in which 166 people, including six Americans, were killed.
