He also said that Ajay Devgn and Hrithik Roshan would have been an ideal cast for the film Aadipurush.

He stated that while he has not yet seen the teaser, he believes that if Ajay Devgan and Hrithik Roshan were in this film, it would have been even better.He described Ajay as Ram and Hrithik as better for the role of Laxman.

When Sunil Lahiri was asked about the casting of Ravana’s character, he said that he thinks Sonu Sood would have been fit for this role. At the same time, Deepika Chikhaliya, who played Sita in Ramayana before Sunil, was very angry after seeing the teaser of Adipurush. He said on this that he did not like its VFX at all. He said that the truth with which Tulsidas and Valmiki have written this book should not be tampered with.
