Former Miss World Diana Hayden pregnant for the second time with eggs she froze at 41

Diana Hayden, who was crowned Miss World in 1997, welcomed her first child, Arya on January 9, 2016. Conceived through IVF, Diana had frozen her eggs in 2007, as she focusing on her career at the time. Ten years ago, egg-freezing was not widely spoken about except for medical reasons. Under the guidance of IVF experts, Dr Nandita Palshetkar and Dr Hrishikesh Pai, Diana opted to freeze her eggs, making her one of the first women to freeze her eggs for non-medical reasons.

In 2014, one year after her marriage to American Collin Dick, Diana decided to have a baby. But after trying to conceive for a year she found out she had endometriosis, a painful condition of the uterus, which reduces the chances of conceiving by about 50%. Using the eggs she froze in 2007, Diana turned her dream into reality when in 2016 she conceived and gave birth to a beautiful, healthy, baby girl.

Knowing she wanted to have more children, Diana withdrew and froze more of her eggs at the age of 41. Now, she is five months pregnant, and is expecting twins.. 4. The babies are due in March. “Collin and I are over the moon to share this news with the world. I already fulfilled my dream of being a mother by having Arya, and now my dream has multiplied. We can’t be happier; our family is soon going to change from three to five,” said Daina.

6.. Hayden made her Bollywood debut with ‘Tehzeeb’ in the year 2003 and was later seen in Othello: A South African Tale (2006), Ab Bas (2004), Holby City (TV Series) (2003), Lorie/the loving doll (2012). However, she failed to make her mark in Bollywood.

Following her tenure as the global representative for the Miss World organization, Diana moved to the UK and studied acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
