Finland’s new Prime Minister introduces four-days a week working
Finland’s newly elected Prime Minister has announced introduced flexible working schedule in the country which includes only four days working a week and six hours working a day.
Sana Marin is the second youngest leader in the world. She said that it is important for every individual to spend their time with their families. “I believe people deserve to spend more time with their families, loved ones, hobbies and other aspects of life, such as culture.
‘This could be the next step for us in working life.” She said.
She added that this will increase the potential and productivity of the employees and hence being a profit for the nation.
In Finland
currently it is normal to work eight hours per day, five days per week.
This proposal was enthusiastically welcomed by the whole country and the ministeries.
