Directed by Sharan Sharma, known for helming “The Kargil Girl” and “Gunjan Saxena,” this sports drama marks the second collaboration between Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, following their pairing in the horror comedy “Roohi.” Originally slated for release in 2022, then rescheduled for April 2024, the film is now set to hit theaters on May 31, 2024.
Apart from “Mr. & Mrs. Mahi,” Janhvi Kapoor is also involved in projects like “Ulajh” and her Telugu debut in Jr NTR’s forthcoming action-thriller “Devara: Part 1.” Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao’s film “Shrikanth” has garnered positive responses in India, grossing over ₹11 crore within three days of its release, as per Sacnilk.com. Rao is also slated to appear in “Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video” and “Stree 2.”
