Doraemon fans get emotional as Nobita set to marry Shizuka in ‘Stand By Me Doraemon 2’

One of India’s most-watched cartoons for over a decade ‘Doraemon’ started trending worldwide today in celebration of an important wedding.

Doraemon is a male robotic Cat that travels back in the 22nd century to aid a preteen boy named Nobita.

Doraemon is one of the most enduring franchises in animation history and the time-traveling cat has become a global icon for animation and anime buffs.

Well, you might have guessed it by now. It’s Nobita and Shizuka’s Marriage.

For those who have grown up watching the episodes of the series have noticed how Nobita deeply cares for his friend Shizuka and tries to impress her constantly.

Nobita tries to impress her ladylove with the gadgets he gets from Doraemon.

On Wednesday ‘Stand By Me 2 was announced and it is the sequel to the same series which was released in 2014.

While part one focused on Nobita meeting Doraemon and their adventures together, the second will probably be Nobita marrying his childhood sweetheart Shizuka.
