Cricket fans trolled Mitchell Marsh for posing wrongfully with World Cup trophy

Australia all-rounder Mitchell Marsh was seen allegedly disrespecting the prestigious World Cup trophy after their impressive six-wicket win over India in Ahmedabad on November 19 (Sunday). In a picture surfaced on social media, this West Australian player was seen sitting with his feet on the trophy and cricket fans are strongly criticizing it. Marsh, who was also a part of Australia’s world champion team in 2015, was caught by KL Rahul on the ball of Jasprit Bumrah after scoring 15 runs on Sunday.

However, after the win, he was seen sitting in the dressing room with his feet on the trophy. His action is being criticized a lot. The fans called this behavior wrong and said that they should have some respect for the trophy. Fans have shared pictures of Kapil Dev, Sachin Tendulkar and Mahendra Singh Dhoni, in which they are seen respecting the trophy. Kapil had given respect to the trophy and placed it on his head and explained its importance.
