COVID 19 scare closed theatre, schools, gyms, and Malls.
With more people in the state being tested positive for coronavirus each day, the Maharashtra government took the unprecedented step of ordering all theatres, gyms, swimming pools and auditoriums to be shut from midnight on Friday.
These establishments will be shut in Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad and Nagpur where infected patients were found. There is no word yet on when they would be reopened. The state government would, however, be reviewing these restrictions on March 30.
Following Maharashtra, several other states like Gujarat, Delhi, UP, Chattisgarh, Assam, etc have announced shut on their malls, swimming pool, cinema halls, gyms or any other places which bring large crowds or more chances to get an infection of the general public, will remain shut till March 31.
