Chandrakant Patil appointed as new BJP Maharashtra chief

Today, Maharashtra’s has got news BJP party president. As per the official statement by the party, Amit Shah has appointed Chandrakant Patil as new Maharashtra BJP chief.

As mentioned in the constitution of BJP, no member can hold two posts i.e. a post in central cabinet and a post in the Party’s working committee at the same time.

Former Party president Raosahib Patil Danve who resigned today is a consistent winner of Jalna Lok Sabha seat for the five times in a row. As a sweet gesture to his consistent performance, he has been promoted as Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution in current Modi cabinet.
