Balkaur Singh, the father of late Punjabi artist Sidhu Moosewala, has a newborn son. On Sunday, he posted a photo of himself with the newborn to Instagram. The photograph also included a photo frame of Sidhu in the background. Balkaur, wearing a blue shirt and denims, held the baby in his arms. A cake was also placed on a table beside him.

Balkaur captioned the post in Punjabi: “With the blessings of millions of souls who love Shubdeep, the Almighty has placed Shubh’s younger brother in our lap.” The family is healthy thanks to Waheguru’s blessings. And I’m grateful to all of the well-wishers for their affection (folded hands emoji). Balkaur and his wife, Charan Kaur, welcomed the new baby.
