Breaking: Australia’s top batsmen are back to take revenge against India in third Test Match

Cricket Australia on Wednesday welcomed opener David Warner and Will Pucovski in Australia’s 18 man squad for the Third Test and fourth Test against India which will be played in Sydney and Brisbane from January 7 and 15 respectively.

Star Opener Warner missed the first two Tests because of a groin strain while the uncapped Pucovski was ruled out after suffering a concussion during the practice match against India.

Furthermore, out of form Joe Burns has been dropped after a string of failures in the first two Test Matches. Burns will join his BBL Franchise team Brisbane Heat in the ongoing Big Bash League T20.

Fast Bowler Sean Abbot who suffered a calf injury during the practice matches will also rejoin the Test squad.

The third test Between India and Australia will be a New Year Test and it will be known as Pink Test. The Pink Test is the annual fundraiser event that collaborates with McGrath Foundation, a Breast cancer support and education charity set up by former Australian great fast bowler Glenn McGrath.
