‘Boycott Kareena Khan’ trends after Bebo considered for the role of ‘Sita’ in upcoming film

Days after reports surfaced that Kareena Kapoor Khan had asked for a whopping Rs 12 crores for the upcoming mythological period saga Sita, netizens now took to Twitter expressing anger and demanding to Boycott the Good Newzz actor.
Social media is flooded with people expressing anger against Kareena Kapoor Khan. Netizens allege that Kareena is hurting with their religious sentiments and that the demand of Rs 12 crores for a role is too much and is ‘against humanity’. Some people also called to boycott Sita’s director for planning to cast Kareena. One of the social media users also dragged in Kareena’s husband and actor Saif Ali Khan and alleged that while earlier Saif hurt Hindu sentiments with Tandav, now Kareena is repeating the same. According to a report, the ‘Veere Di Wedding’ actress has demanded Rs 12 crores to play the role of Sita in the film, which will depict the epic ‘Ramayana’ from Sita’s point of view. While Bebo is taking her time to give the nod, makers are also reconsidering their decision and looking for a younger actress, a source told the outlet.
The said film has reportedly been titled ‘SITA- The Incarnation’. It is being written by ‘Baahubali’ screenwriter KV Vijayendra Prasad. Ranveer Singh has been approached to play Ravana in the film.
Interestingly, Kareena Kapoor’s husband actor Saif Ali Khan will be seen playing the antagonist in Om Raut’s screen adaptation of the epic Ramayana – ‘Adipurush’.
The film will show Prabhas essaying the role of Lord Rama. It has found its Sita in actress Kriti Sanon and Lakshman in actor Sunny Singh.
