Anil Kapoor: Bollywood’s Youngman turned 63 today
Anil Kapoor, Indian actor, and producer who has appeared in over 100 films in Indian as well as International movies, in the spam of his 40 years of an acting career. He has also won several awards including two National Film Awards and six Filmfare Awards in various categories.
Anil Kapoor is born is film producer Surinder Kapoor in Mumbai. Anil made his debut in a Telugu movie, in 1979, Vamsa Vrushkam directed by Bapu. Then he made his Kannada movie debut in 1983, Pallavi Anu Pallavi.
Anil received his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor Award for his performance in Tezaab (1988), and then for his role in Beta (1992).
His other successful films are, Meri Jung (1985), Yudh (1985), Karma (1986), Aap ke Saath (1986), Mr. India (1987), Ghar ho toh Aesa (1990), Benaam Badsha (1991), Virasat (1997), for which he won the Filmfare Critics Awards for Best Actor; Taal (1999); for which he got second Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award; No Entry (2005), Dil Dhakhne Do (2015); which got him his third Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award.
Anil Kapoor is has turned 63 today, but he still is known as the ‘Youngman of Bollywood’, as he is aging like a fine wine.
