SRK, currently with 3,29,44,338 followers, has been ranked number one on Twitter, while Bachchan is on the number two spot with 3,29,02,353 followers.
It’s obvious, No one likes losing followers on social media. Especially when it comes at a cost of losing the top spot of the most followed actor in India.
Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has threatened to leave Twitter, accusing the social media giant of reducing the number of his followers. His tweet comes after many prominent Twitter users across the world lost more than a million followers as federal and state agencies in the US started investigating shadowy agencies that sell fake followers.
So when veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan saw a considerable decline in his followers’ list on microblogging site Twitter, the actor jokingly “threatened” to quit the site. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan has sneaked into the top of the topmost followed actor list.
A very angry Big B wrote, “T 2599 – TWITTER ..!!! you reduced my number of followers .. !!??HAHAHAHAHAHAHA .. !! that’s a joke .. time to get off from you .. thank you for the ride .. .. there are many ‘other’ fish in the sea – and a lot more exciting. (sic)”
