Alia Bhatt made fun of her walking style, said-“I walk like a duck”.

Alia Bhatt’s film Gangubai Kathiawadi was released on February 25 at the box office and the film did great business. In an interview, Alia Bhatt talked about her character and her style. Alia Bhatt said that there is a lot of swag shown in her character in the film, from the way she walks to everything. Although Alia Bhatt also said that if she walks like this in real life, then it will be a walk like a duck.

Apart from Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shantanu Maheshwari, Vijay Raaz, Indira Tiwari, Seema Pahana and Jim Sarbh have played important roles in this film, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The story of the film is based on a chapter from the book Mafia Queens of Mumbai by S Hussain Zaidi.

The film tells the story of Gangu who is sold to a brothel in Kamathipura, Mumbai. The film has earned more than 186 crores at the box office. In a conversation with India Today, Alia Bhatt said, ‘When I saw my own paparazzi videos, I thought I walk like a duck. I felt that I was walking very strangely.

Alia Bhatt said that she probably had to make it a little more interesting. However, he also admitted that in the film this walk has been shown as a walk with a lot of swag. Alia Bhatt also praised Allu Arjun’s film Pushpa in the same interview. She said, “When I saw Pushpa. So I just fell in love with Allu Arjun’s swag.”

Meanwhile not only in her professional life but Alia Bhatt is having quite the rosy phase in her personal life too. Speculations have been rife that Alia will soon be tying the knot with beau Ranbir Kapoor this month. Reportedly, the couple plans to tie the knot at the ancestral Kapoor family home and will have nearly 450 guests in attendance.


According to a news report in Pinkvilla , it was Ranbir Kapoor’s idea to ditch a swanky hotel and tie the knot at the family’s Chembur home. The same report further mentioned that the couple plans to get married sooner than later and a date in the second week of April has been settled up by the Kapoor and Bhatt families. It has been said that while Ranbir’s family was keen on selecting a date towards the end of April, Alia Bhatt’s family insisted on an earlier date keeping in mind the health of the actress’ maternal grandfather, Narendra Nath Razdan.
