After Sisodia CBI Reaches Satyendra Jain Residence.
In an apparent move to step up pressures on Delhi government and its Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) reaches out to the residence of Health Minister Satyendra Jain, to grill his wife related to an alleged money laundering case on Monday morning.
According to reports, the CBI reached the Minister’s residence as per the time given by his wife for certain clarification in the ongoing investigation into the alleged money laundering. However, the central agency had clarified that there is no raid and searches being conducted in any of the ways.
A Preliminary Enquiry (PE) was registered against the Health Minister in the month of April to inquire into the alleged money laundering case.
Blaming the central government of vendetta politics, Delhi Chief Minister and the Aam Aadmi Party Chief, Arvind Kejriwal, has come out in the support of the Health Minister and tweets, “Central govt (sic) of BJP is misusing CBI for its vendetta politics. After Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, BJP’s CBI raids on Minister,”
It was alleged that the Health Minister is involved in the money laundering to the tune of Rs 4.62 crore while being a public servant during 2015-16 through Prayas Info Solutions private limited, Akinchand developers private limited and Managalyatan projects private limited.
The allegations against Jain also include purported money laundering to the tune of Rs 11.78 crore during 2010-12 through these companies and Indometal Impex Pvt limited.
