Aamir Khan’s Dangal Is The 5th Highest Grossing Non-English Movie in History!

Forbes magazine recently published an article where it is revealed that Aamir Khan’s wrestling drama is the fifth highest grossing non-English movie of all time, beating Baahubali: The Conclusion.

Dangal made a whooping 179.8 (1129 crores) million in China market, more than thrice of what it grossed in the domestic market.

Its global total now stands at over 301 million and the movie is still playing at several theatres in China which mean it’ll easily gross yet another 10-15 million, and could become the 4th highest grossing non-English film of all time.

Apart from Dangal, the top 4 non-English film of all time is, China’s The Mermaid 553 million, France’s The Intouchables 427 million, Monster Hunt (China) 386 million, Japan’s Your Name 354 million.
