67,385 born on New Year’s Day in India, making it highest number of borns in the world
About 4,00,000 babies were born on New Year’s Day around the world with India having the highest number of born recorded by the UNICEF that was of 67,385.
According to the UNICEF report, 3,92078 babies were around the world on January 1, 2020, out of which 67,385 were born in India.
At the beginning of the decade, the report of UNICEF shows a threat to the population count of the nation. “The beginning of a new year and a new decade is an opportunity to reflect on our hopes and aspirations not only for the future, but also of those who will come after us.” UNICEF Executive Director Henrietta Fore said.
After India, the second-highest count was of China with 46,299, after this, there were countries, Nigeria, Pakistan, Indonesia, USA.
UNICEF says that this kind of population growth can affect the lifestyle of future generation resulting in poor conditions and scare resources for their survival
