Janhvi Kapoor’s recent photo shoot will make you droll

Sridevi’s elder daughter, Janhvi Kapoor, has been the talk of the town for her fashion sense for a while now. And why shouldn’t she be? She’s young, beautiful and her first film is with none other than the much popular B-Town director Karan Johar. The first look of Janhvi  Kapoor’s film is out and her co-star is Ishaan  Khattar,  Shahid Kapoor’s half-brother. Quite a star-studded movie this is turning out to be! The film is called Dhadak and is supposed to hit the theatres on the 6th of July, next year. Janhvi Kapoor like her mother has one favourite designer, Manish Malhotra and she’s been spotted wearing him a lot!

Ever since the news of Sridevi daughter Jahnvi Kapoor making a debut in Bollywood broke out, the audience has been patiently waiting to know which project would be her first Bollywood film. And when Karan Johar decided to launch her, we had all hopes that her debut would not be anything less than a grand entry into the world of glitter and glam.

However, to our surprise the young star chose to debut with a de-glam look and a very sensitive subject. On November 15, Karan Johar made a big announcement and introduced Janhvi and Ishaan Khattar with his next production, a remake of Marathi film Sairat, titled Dhadak.

Dhadak is going to be directed by Shashank Khaitaan, who delivered back to back hits with Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Humpty Ki Dulhania. Sairat dealt with the topic of honour killing, and since it’s an official remake, we know the story wouldn’t undergo much of a change.

The daddy’s little girl is daughter to one of India’s greatest actresses Sridevi. Sridevi has been in the industry for over four decades. This experience, of course, comes as a benefit to her daughter Janhvi and we hope that she would nail it with her performance just as Sridevi.

While she has made her debut with a de-glam look, she has turned heads with her Manish Malhotra attires at so many parties. And we can surely say she is a fashionista. Hence, she is the best of both the worlds already.

We cannot wait to see if she’s got the same talent of acting as her mother and for that we would have to wait until July 6, 2018.

As of now, all eyes balls are rolling to watch the expression queen Sridevi’s daughter perform in the Tinsel town.
