Zomato’s CEO Deepinder Marries to Mexican-Born Grecia Munoz

In the wake of the entrepreneurial synergies, Deepinder Goyal tied the knot with a Mexican-born ex-model Grecia Munoz a month ago. Looking into his career beginning, he initially began his career with a consulting firm Bain& Company in 2008. After a certain backlash in his career, Goyal launched his business startup named Foodiebay.com.

Deepinder is a Gurgaon-based, that later modified its business with the ideation of delivering systems from door to door. This was not easy during the launching of a new business invention, Goyal came across several negative loopholes, but creating a startup and developing it into a business, was a rollercoaster. His startup is now the world’s leading food delivery outlet, which bagged a revenue of Rs 3288 Crores, the highest ever breakdown amongst other quarters.

This week, Goyal and Zomato encountered a significant backlash regarding their intentions to launch two new vegetarian-only food delivery services, named “Pure Veg Mode” and “Pure Veg Fleet,” each with distinct green wear.
Goyal announced on Wednesday that the delivery agents will still wear their current red t-shirts or shirts and that the company will abandon its plans to implement an all-green dress code for both green boxes and delivery agents.

Look at this: Update on our pure veg fleet — “While we are going to continue to have a fleet for vegetarians, we have decided to remove the on-ground segregation of this fleet on the ground using the color green. All our riders — both our regular fleet and our fleet for vegetarians, will wear the color red. This means that the fleet meant for vegetarian orders will not be identifiable on the ground”, he quoted.

Amidst all this success, Deepinder married Grecia Munoz a month ago. A confirmation was secured from his wife Grecia’s Instagram bio says, ‘now at home in India’. Munoz claims to be a television host in her Threads bio. She also takes home the 2022 Metropolitan Fashion Week title in the US. Munoz posted pictures of herself visiting well-known Delhi locations in January.

Three years ago, Goyal became one of the richest individuals in India following Zomato’s successful listing. Then, the Bloomberg Index of Billionaires estimated his net worth at $650 million, taking into account his Zomato stake.
