Arvind Kejriwal Claims Police Raid at Party’s Ahmedabad Office

Edited by: – Vikas Mavi

12 September 2022 (New Delhi): The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has alleged that police raided its Ahmedabad office on Sunday. The party said that the ruling BJP is “extremely rattled” by the “immense support” it is receiving in the run-up to the Gujarat Assembly elections. According to AAP leaders, the raid happened immediately after Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal arrived in Ahmedabad. Kejriwal responded to the news by stating that the AAP’s leaders and members are “Kattar Immandar” (hardcore honest) and that the Gujarat police had found nothing illegal in the party headquarters. On the other hand, Gujarat Police did not respond right away to the AAP’s assertion.

We are hardcore honest and patriotic people: – Kejriwal

Kejriwal Tweeted, “The BJP is extremely rattled by the immense support that the AAP is getting from the people of Gujarat. There is a storm in favor of the AAP in Gujarat. After Delhi, raids have started in Gujarat too. Nothing was found in Delhi; nothing was found in Gujarat too. We are hardcore honest and patriotic people.” Soon after AAP claimed a police raid at its Ahmedabad office, party chief Arvind Kejriwal said the Bharatiya Janata Party was insecure about his party gaining popularity in poll-bound Gujarat.

Police stormed the party office: – Gadhvi

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was also attacked by the AAP national convenor when Isudan Gadhvi, the party’s leader in Gujarat, alleged on Twitter that ‘’police stormed the party office and searched it for two hours shortly after Kejriwal arrived in Ahmedabad. Gujarat Police raid at the Aam Aadmi Party’s office as soon as Kejriwal arrived in Ahmedabad. Carried out searches for two hours and left. Nothing found. Said they will come again.” The Gujarat Assembly polls are scheduled to be conducted later in the year.
