13th April 2023 (New Delhi): Swift Smt. Angoori Devi Memorial Cricket Tournament was organized today at Aster Public School, Greater Noida in which the first match was played between Modern Public School Delhi and Lotus Valley Public School Noida in which Modern Public School Delhi won the toss and decided to bat first. Public School scored a score of 350 runs in 20 overs. Tanmay Singh from Modern Public School batted very well and hit 227 runs in 66 balls which included 26 sixes and 13 fours. Tanmay holds the record of hitting 7 sixes in an over. Also made this is the biggest score in school T-20 cricket so far.
Last year,13-year-old boy, Tanmay Singh, performed brilliantly in the under-14 club cricket tournament being held in Greater Noida. Tanmay, who represented Devraj Sports Club in the match against Ryan International Cricket Academy, scored a quadruple century (401) in 132 balls with 30 fours and 38 sixes. With his innings, Tanmay, reminded us of legendary player Sachin Tendulkar.
