Trouble increases for Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, Delhi Police to register FIR soon: Know More

MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh’s difficulties may increase in connection with the sit-in demonstration of women wrestlers. Actually, Delhi Police has said that they will register an FIR in this matter today. Delhi Police has given this information to the Supreme Court. The women wrestler is demanding the registration of an FIR against Brij Bhushan and has moved the Supreme Court for this demand. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta also informed the Supreme Court that the Delhi Police would file an FIR today.

Senior advocate Kapil Sibal appealed to the Supreme Court to issue guidelines for the safety of women wrestlers and appoint a retired judge to monitor it. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing in the court on behalf of the Delhi Police, said that all these matters would be looked into by the police. The Supreme Court also directed the Delhi Police to file an affidavit. In this affidavit, instructions have been given to give information about the steps to be taken for the safety of minor girls.

Let us inform that the women wrestlers sitting on strike for the past several days had filed a petition in the Supreme Court. The petition demanded that an FIR be registered against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, President of the Wrestling Federation of India. The wrestlers had approached the Supreme Court on Monday, on which the court had issued a notice to the Delhi Police. During the hearing today, the Delhi Police told the court that they will file an FIR in this matter today.
