Top intellectuals wrote open letter to opposition seeking govt. plan for nation self preparedness during 3rd wave

In view of the possibility of a third wave of corona in the country, the intellectuals of the country have expressed concern. More than 185 people have written letters to the opposition parties in the country, urging them to use their influence to prepare the central and state governments in advance to deal with it. The pace of the second wave of corona in the country seems to be decreasing but apprehensions have been raised about the third wave of the epidemic.

More than 185 intellectuals, including historian Romila Thapar, Irfan Habib and economist Kaushik Basu, have written open letters to the opposition parties. In this letter, the opposition parties have been appealed to use their influence to help ensure that the central government and the state government are prepared in advance to deal with the third wave of the epidemic.
