To keep a tab on CM Yogi Adityanath activities, PM Modi has sent this ‘Special Officer’ to UP.

To keep the Uttar Pradesh administration under the hood of the centre, it has decided that CM Yogi Adityanath’s government will get direction directly from the Prime Minister’s Office.

Principal Secretary of PM Narendra Modi’s Office, Nripendra Misra has been made the monitor of administrative developments in UP, Irony is that the new govt. is yet to find its firm on the firm ground. Nripendra Misra has met with Yogi Adityanath yesterday for 45 minutes in the evening. Media Sources have revealed that such meetings will be regularly held between Nripendra Misra and Yogi Adityanath and Misra will be the mediator between CM Yogi and PM Narendra Modi.

Who is Nripendra Misra?

Nripendra Misra was an IAS officer from UP cadre and especially called by Modi in 2014 when he formed the new government at the Centre. All further appointments in the top administration in Uttar Pradesh will take place after verification of their background through him only.

Sources said that Yogi Adityanath and Nripendra Misra discussed the implementation of government schemes. The two are said to have discussed the strategy about how to propagate the benefits of the schemes directed at serving the poor.

Nripendra Misra and PMO are expected to be in direct touch with UP government. Misra is likely to guide the Yogi government in day-to-day affairs of the state government. Yogi Adityanath and Nripendra Misra are understood to have also discussed the scope of new schemes for Uttar Pradesh.

A change in the outlook of the Uttar Pradesh bureaucracy is likely to take place over next few days. Yogi Adityanath and Nripendra Misra also deliberated over the names of potential top bureaucrats in Uttar Pradesh.
