The first lunar eclipse of the year 2019 is on 21st January. This year will be eclipse on Moon 2 times. The first lunar eclipse in it seems to be today. After this, the second and last lunar eclipse of this year will take place on July 16, 2019. The total duration of eclipse today will be 3 hours and 30 minutes. This is a full moon eclipse. This lunar eclipse is found in Cancer and Pushy Nakshatra. This eclipse will not be visible in India. Rather, the eclipse will appear in South America, Europe, Africa and the Middle Ocean. 4. According to an astrological notion, biting nails and hair during a lunar eclipse is considered inauspicious.

5. During the lunar eclipse, eating should be avoided.
