TEENAGE LOVE INFATUATION OR REALITY?

Edited by: Vikas Mavi

28 August, 2022 (New Delhi): Young love is accompanied by a lot of emotions. It can be both a pleasant and powerful feeling. Teenagers develop crushes mostly to be able to declare that they have a boyfriend or girlfriend and to get to know the other sex. In actuality, people aren’t falling in love because they never feel a feeling of compassion, dedication, or completion in the relationship. They lack emotional control and social skills, which can all make the connection challenging.

Young love is accompanied by a lot of emotions. It can be both a pleasant and powerful feeling. In actuality, people aren’t falling in love because they never feel a feeling of compassion, dedication, or completion in the relationship. They lack emotional control and social skills, which can all make the connection challenging.

Strong infatuation

A one-sided infatuation exists. It frequently focuses so intently on connection feelings that it borders on obsession. Although infatuation satisfies a need, regrettably, it frequently involves unresolved feelings from previous relationships. Additionally, infatuation only emphasises good feelings, making it impossible to sustain. The thought of being in love without actually putting forth the effort necessary for true, enduring love is known as infatuation.

Shifting from late teen to young adult

The bloodstream contains hormones for both sexes, and during adolescence, these hormone concentrations are noticeably higher. ‘In love’ or ‘in lust’ feelings are easy to be confused with other emotions. Adolescents may experience unwanted or coerced sexual activities as well as abusive or violent encounters with their peers.
Unrequited love and breakups are two additional difficulties faced by teen couples. In the instance of unrequited love, fantasies about the “lover” can be so compelling and obsessional that they can occasionally mislead people into believing that the feelings are mutual.

Feeling of lust or love

The instinctive need is lust. Typically, it lacks substance, is superficial, and is based on physical characteristics. Additionally, lust lacks the intimate company of true love. Like infatuation, lust is more closely related to the concept of love, yet lust can be deceptive since it causes you to lie to yourself about the other person’s true qualities. Lust claims that it is possible to alter someone who has no desire to do so.
Everything about love is like a marathon, even the part after the finish line. Love is broad and deep, and it improves both parties. Love allows for the preservation of individuality while fostering mutual growth. Love allows you to feel every emotion with someone else while still wanting to see them the next day.
