Sudhanshu Trivedi takes a blow at Pakistan during the UN Peacemaking Conference and says, “False propaganda doesn’t change ground realities.”
India has once again strongly reprimanded Pakistan in the United Nations (UN). However, this time no administrative officer or diplomat has done this work. Rather, this time this answer has been given by Rajya Sabha MP and BJP leader Sudhanshu Trivedi. Trivedi targeted Pakistan’s false propaganda regarding Jammu and Kashmir and said that the neighboring country cannot change the facts through its actions.
In fact, amidst the ongoing discussion regarding peacekeeping missions in the UN General Assembly, Pakistan once again raised the issue of Jammu and Kashmir. On this, India used its right of reply and said, “Pakistan is once again trying to divert this UN body from its agenda. But Jammu and Kashmir was, is, and will always be a part of India.”
He further said, “The people of Jammu and Kashmir have recently exercised their democratic and electoral rights and elected a new government. Pakistan should desist from its false statements, as this will not change the facts.” He said that out of respect for the August members of this UN forum, India will no longer react to Pakistan’s violation of UN rules.
Rajya Sabha MP Trivedi said that this democratic change in Jammu and Kashmir has been possible only because of the strong foreign policy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which shows a tough and acceptable image of India on the international stage. Sudhanshu Trivedi is part of team of 12 MPs who are participating in meetings on different issues in the UN.
