SRK’s Terrific Ted Talk Video Is The Best Thing To Watch Today!
Shah Rukh Khan, who recently flew to Canada to deliver a TED talk, is currently busy with the pre-production of his next, but the entire video of his talk, has been uploaded online by the good folks at TED.
While small chunks of information had started trickling in about his talk, the entire clip, about 18 minutes long, is wittier and more intellectually engaging than what we were led to believe.
Besides slipping in jokes here and there (he sneaked in a dick joke), Khan talks profoundly about the future of humanity itself, fame, and love. Appropriate, considering Khan has made a career out of playing lover-boy roles.
He said: “I have realised that whatever moves you, whatever urges you to create, to build, whatever keeps you from failing, whatever helps you survive, is perhaps the oldest, and simplest emotion known to mankind, and that is love.”
About social media, he said, “Everything I said took a new meaning. Everything I did, good, bad, ugly, was there for the world to comment upon and judge.”
Predictably, it ended with him getting a standing ovation.
