Sonam Kapoor Tried To Act Smart Got Trolled Mercilessly

Recent attacks on Africans in India have exposed the fair skin obsession of Indians. These attacks have shown the amount of racism prevalent in Indian society and to a large extent how hypocrite we are.

Skin colour obsession is not limited to just personal level but entertainment industry plays a major role to encourage it. A number of fairness creams in the Indian market and actors promoting it for money in advertisement shows how casual it is actually in India to demean black skin.

Kangana Ranaut, the queen of Bollywood has rejected 2 crores worth deal of fairness creams. She also expressed pity on those film stars who actually promote it (without taking anyone’s names).

But Abhay Deol, just a few days back came forward and openly criticized the stars like Shahrukh Khan, John Abraham, Sonam Kapoor and the like for doing a fairness cream advertisements.

While there have been no comments from any stars except Sonam Kapoor who actually tried to give a smart reply to Abhay for his tweets but got trolled in return. Though later on, she deleted it.

Sonam replied to the tweet of Abhay by reminding him about the fairness cream add which was done by his cousin Esha Deol.

Abhay accepted it and gave a witty reply to her.

And then ‘Neerja’ actress said this as an excuse:

Though she, later on, deleted it but twitterrati couldn’t stop trolling her for it.

 

— Poor girl didn’t realise when to keep thoughts to herself.
