Goa Police register murder case against two individuals involved in Sonali Phogat’s murder
25 August, 2022 (New Delhi): Police has taken major action in the case of death of BJP leader Sonali Phogat in Goa under suspicious circumstances. Goa Police has registered a murder case against PA accused in Sonali Phogat’s murder. Actually Sonali Phogat’s family members were constantly accusing her PA for murder. Her brother Rinku Dhaka had lodged a complaint with the Goa Police. In this, he had claimed that sister Sonali was murdered by two of her associates. According to Rinku, these two associates are Sonali’s PA Sudhir Sangwan and dance artist Sukhwinder Sangwan. Rinku said that shortly before her death, Sonali spoke to her mother, sister and another relative. She was upset and was complaining against two of her colleagues. It also claimed that CCTV cameras, laptops and other important things have gone missing from her farmhouse in Haryana after Sonali’s death.
The family members agreed on the postmortem with videography
Two days after Sonali Phogat’s death, a family member said on Thursday that she has given her consent for the postmortem but with the condition that the process be videographed. The postmortem was earlier scheduled to take place on Wednesday at the Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) but Phogat’s brother Rinku Dhaka on Wednesday claimed that she was murdered by two of her sister’s associates.
This is how Sonali Phogat died
Phogat (42) from Hisar, Haryana was a BJP leader and Tik Tok star. According to the police, he had a suspected heart attack after which he was taken to St. Anthony’s Hospital in Anjuna in North Goa district on Tuesday morning. She was declared brought dead at the hospital. After this the police registered a case of unnatural death. Phogat’s body is currently kept in the morgue of GMCH. GMCH officials said they are waiting for police permission to conduct the postmortem.
