23 August, 2022 (New Delhi): The list goes on: Sidharth Shukla, Puneet Rajkumar, Deepesh Bhan, Raju Srivastava, and now Sonali Phogat. These young celebs were at the peak of their careers when death struck them. Their craft was loved by millions. And they left us all longing for more. So much remained to be achieved in the lives of these young superstars, yet life took them away. Below is the list of talented individuals we have lost in recent years.

Sidharth Shukla

Sidharth Shukla, a fitness enthusiast, and star of the TV serial Balika Vadhu passed away from a sudden heart attack on September 2 of last year. Despite being a smoker, Sidharth had no history of heart disease.

Deepesh Bhan

Deepesh Bhan was really worried about his physical condition. He maintained a fit lifestyle. On that particular day, he was playing cricket when he suddenly passed out. He died after being transported to the hospital. A cerebral hemorrhage was the reason for Deepesh’s demise.

Puneeth Rajkumar

The famous Kannada actor also had a heart attack on October 29 of the previous year while working out in the gym. Doctors said heart disorders can also be caused by other comorbidities such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc. While moderate exercise is beneficial, it shouldn’t be overdone.

Raju Srivastava

The 58-year-old had a small heart attack on August 10, while working out at a gym in Delhi. After which he was rushed to AIIMS hospital (Delhi). While the crew of the famous comic from ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ reports that he is currently doing well, recent occurrences of heart attacks and cardiac deaths in famous people has raised concerns.

Sonali Phogat

On Monday night in Goa, Sonali Phogat passed away from a heart attack at the age of 42. She had travelled to Goa with some of her staff. She reported feeling uneasy and was rushed to the hospital. She gained notoriety through her TikTok videos and has a sizable fan base on the video-sharing platform.

What’s causing the deaths?

Undiagnosed high blood pressure is the main cause, as nobody ever has their blood pressure checked, especially when they are young. Smoking is the second explanation. Smoking has a negative impact on your heart and is most prevalent in India. Stress and lifestyle make up the third, according to Dr. Gawande.
They work different hours and are subject to extreme stress. A celebrity’s lifestyle often includes late nights, excessive drinking, and a lack of sleep. And that is actually hurting them more than the workout does. Therefore, there is no equilibrium, “the doctor says.
