Sahara supreemo Subrata Roy passes away at Mumbai hospital, his mortal remains are on way to Lucknow
Sahara Sri Subrata Roy died on Tuesday night in a hospital in Mumbai. The cause of death has been stated to be cardiorespiratory arrest. He was undergoing treatment for the last few months. Today his mortal remains will be brought to Lucknow. His last tribute will be paid to him in Lucknow itself. He was suffering from many types of diseases. He was undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Mumbai for the last few months. In the press note issued by Sahara Group, the cause of his death has been stated as cardiorespiratory arrest.
Subrata Roy's mortal remains will reach Amausi airport at around 3.30 pm by a special plane. The body will be kept for public darshan at Sahara City in Gomti Nagar around 5 pm. Ghulam Zeeshan, associated with the Sahara Group, said that the body will be kept there for people to see till tomorrow morning. It is expected that employees from across the country associated with Sahara Group may reach there in large numbers. Sahara Shri's last rites will be performed at Baikunth Dham in Gomti Nagar on Thursday.
Producers Sandeep Singh and Jayantilal Gada were going to make a film on the life of Subrata Roy. He had announced his new film 'Saharashree'. Which is a biopic based on the life of the founder of Sahara India Parivar.
