Ranbir kapoor’s Extended Smoking Film Divides Animal Audience
Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal Gets Mixed Reviews on Day 1
Ranbir Kapoor’s latest movie, Animal, created a buzz even before its release due to high booking numbers. It narrowly surpassed Vicky Kaushal’s biopic on Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.
On the first day, the audience had mixed reactions. Many praised Ranbir’s performance and the movie’s end credits scene on social media platforms. Some called it a blockbuster, applauding director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and other actors.
However, not everyone was impressed. Some criticized the movie, calling it misogynistic and pointing out issues with the portrayal of Rashmika Mandanna’s character. Despite being considered highly entertaining by some, Animal faced backlash for its gory scenes and controversial premise.
One user on X expressed disappointment, stating that the best parts were already in the trailer and that the movie felt like a three-hour-long cigarette commercial. They criticized the lack of depth in relationships and the confusing plot points.
A user Sejal wrote on X, “A movie like Animal is not the way to tell people what is problematic about these men.
