Ramnath Konvind Takes Meira Kumar To Her Feet, Marches To Become The 14th Prez Of India
In the battle to India’s top most job, Ramnath Kovind emerged as a winner defeating his counterpart Meira Kumar by a huge margin. Ramnath Kovind, who will be sitting in the power seat, replacing Pranab Mukherjee, and India’s 14th President had defeated Meira Kumar by securing two-third of the total electoral college voted. The swearing in ceremony will take place on July 25.

Following the announcement of the BJP nominee, Ramnath Kovind as the President of Indian, The former governor of Bihar had extra security arrived at the former Bihar governor’s home in Delhi.
The counting of votes for the presidential election began at 11 am today. The contest, between the ruling NDA’s Ram Nath Kovind and the Opposition’s Meira Kumar, both Dalits, had seen nearly 99 per cent lawmakers and legislators cast their vote – the highest ever. Voting had taken place on July 17.
