Rajkumar Rao – I want to portray Bhagat Singh in upcoming film project

Bollywood actor Rajkumar Rao is in limelight these days for ‘Guns and Roses’. He has so far enthralled the audience with his many characters. He has played versatile roles in films like ‘Aligarh’, ‘Kai Po Che’, ‘Shahid’, ‘Trapped’ and many more. He played the role of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in the 2017 web series ‘Bose: Dead or Alive’. Now the actor will be reprising the role of Indian freedom fighter Bhagat Singh for the upcoming project. Now he has spoken openly about this in a recent interview.

In a recent interview, the actor clearly stated that he is going to play the role of Bhagat Singh in his upcoming project. He said, ‘Of course, I am very passionate about Bhagat Singh and his journey and to present him on screen in a very different way from what you have seen so far, it was also great, but if I ever see Bhagat Singh Singh, it will be a very different perspective on his life. It will be very different for me to play his character as an actor.

As per the reports, this project will be brought on OTT. It is being made accordingly. The team wants to create content on Bhagat Singh like never before. As of now, the project is in a very early stage and the writing itself will take around six to eight months.
