Rahul Gandhi will be departing to four country foreign visit
Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi will visit four countries including Indonesia from December 9 to December 14. His foreign visit is taking place at a time when the winter session of Parliament is going on. Not only this, the results of the assembly elections have come out this week, in which the party has suffered a crushing defeat in three important states of the Hindi belt – Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. Apart from this, due to the ongoing rift in the opposition alliance ‘India’, the party had to postpone the meeting to be held on Wednesday. On this important occasion, questions are being raised on Rahul’s foreign trip.
Rahul will visit Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam during his six-day foreign visit. Congress party sources say that Rahul’s foreign trip was planned. In such a situation, questions should not be raised on his visit. However, colleagues associated with the opposition alliance ‘India’ believe that at a time when the alliance with the party is in crisis, he should have shown maturity and postponed this visit.
For the disappointing performance, the India alliance partners are accusing the Congress of being arbitrariness, insulting the allies and not being serious about the alliance. Many leaders of the allies have publicly alleged that Congress is not serious about the alliance. Former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad had to come forward to handle the situation. 9th December is Sonia Gandhi’s birthday. Rahul will leave on a foreign trip after celebrating mother Sonia’s birthday.
