Pakistani doctor sacked over sending friend request to Oscar winner Pakistani actress
A doctor at the Aga Khan University faces the wrath of the administration after allegedly sending the friend on Facebook to one of his patients.
The patient in question is the Oscar-winner Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy’s sister.
She wrote that her sister went to the AKU emergency and doctor who tended to her tried to add her on Facebook.
Adding further, Sharmeen Obaid said that the doctor had messed with the wrong women in the family and she would definitely report him as harassment needed to be stopped.

Ali Meen Nawazish, a young blogger, shared a post of a message written to him allegedly by the doctor’s friend, wherein the latter laments the firing of a kind, hardworking father of four.
The AKUH administration, however, neither confirmed nor denied the development.
The official statement of the AKUH always maintains the highest standards of confidentiality and will not release any information on either employees or patients.”
While some on Twitter praised Sharmeen for speaking out regarding the incident, others mostly criticised her for making a big deal out of a non-issue.
