Pahlaj Nihalani presents Julie2: Leaked out

Intimate scenes of Raai Laxmi’s upcoming film Julie 2 have been leaked and the actress said that she couldn’t believe the news after she was informed about it. Julie 2, presented by former Censor Board chief Pahlaj Nihalani has been cleared without cuts – with an ‘A’ certificate.

Raai Laxmi expressed severe dissent and said: “I am busy promoting the film and wasn’t even aware of this! I can’t believe these scenes have leaked. It’s ridiculous that someone would want to do this to the film before release.”

After legal issues involving a copyright infringement case that was filed against the makers. Considering the fact that Nihalani was substantially stringent with the censor certificate – demanding cuts in films with the slightest of explicit scenes, Twitter was absolutely surprised to see Nihalani present a film like Julie 2.

In the meantime, Nihalani told news agency IANS last week that Julie 2 is actually based on the life of a well-known glamorous actress of the 1990s and 2000s. The filmmaker, however, refused to reveal her name in order to avoid controversy.

Julie 2, directed by Deepak Shivdasani, is a sequel to Neha Dhupia’s 2004 film of the same name. It will release on November 24.
