Janmashatmi Celebrations Ft. SheWings!

22 August, 2022 (New Delhi): The festival of Janmashtami was celebrated with zeal and gusto by SheWings at Chetram Sharma Girls School, Noida on 20th August 2022. The great celebration of Janmastmi began by welcoming the chief guests of the event with a musical band. After which, all the guests were invited on stage for ‘Diya lightening’ ceremony.
After this beautiful Diya lightning ceremony, the function started with a dance dedicated to the goddess Saraswati called Saraswati Vandana. Post, which welcome dance was performed by the girls of Chetram Sharma school as a part of greetings for the audience and chief guests, followed by a play called ‘Vaman Act’, skillfully presented by students of RSS International School with a beautiful message of pure devotion and bhakti. After this devotional play, folk dance was performed, along with various performances by talented students.

Expressing her opinions on mensturation health, Dr. Shweta Gupta, the medical director of Crysta IVF talked about the orthodox thinking of society in which a girl feels very uncomfortable talking openly about her menstruation cycle and other problems related to it with her family. Next in line was Radha Sharma, founder of ArCave who shared her opinions about school life and its forthcoming journey. She also praised the beautiful performances presented by the students during the event.
SheWings’ Pad distribution
But wait! Janmastmi celebration wasn’t completed without the enthusiastic performance on Radha- Krishna theme and Dahi Handi competition which was very skilfully performed by the students. At the end of the event, SheWings pads were distributed by Dr.Shweta Gupta (Medical Director, Crysta IVF), Shri Samrat Yadav (President, Rotary Club), Shri Ankur Garg (Vice-President, Rotary Club), Shri Madan Mohit Bhardwaj (Founder, SheWings), Shubhendra Singh Rajwat (Chief Planning Officer, SheWings) and Gurvani Monga ( Manager, SheWings) to the students.
Indeed it was a day filled with knowledge, happiness, and Joy!
