Mumbai, [Current Date]: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued weather alerts for Mumbai, warning residents of heavy to very heavy rainfall. An ‘orange’ alert has been issued for today, indicating the likelihood of substantial precipitation. Additionally, a ‘yellow’ alert has been issued for tomorrow and Friday, urging people to stay updated about the potential for severe weather conditions.

As of the 24 hours ending Tuesday at 8:30 pm, IMD’s observatories at Colaba and Santacruz have recorded rainfall measuring 42mm and 20mm, respectively. Bandra, Antop Hill, and Dadar areas experienced high-intensity rainfall during this period.
