Millennials are Getting Hooked and Had Sex In Less Than 10 Texts. Can You?

It is no hidden truth that millennials are more casual to sex as compared to their previous generation.

According to an international report in the Archives of Sexual Behavior claims that in 2010, 45 percent of millennials had casual sex, a 10% increase compared to the studies done in the late 1980s.

With technology advancement, hooking up with a girl, or a guy, is becoming easy. With the emergence of dating apps like tinder, truly-madly, happn, and other, has taken dating game to a new level.

Mashable had done a survey for the first time by any company, on how quickly you can get from first text to the bedroom by asking hundreds of men and women about their sexual encounters.

The research clearly states that beating around the bush is no longer necessary and that the ‘DTF?” text has replaced the overblown faux-romantic courting.

Clinical psychologist Dr Belisa Vranich told Mashable. “The younger the dater is, I’ve found the shorter the number of messages gets exchanged prior to arranging a date or hookup.”

However, a study by sex toy company Lovehoney earlier this year revealed that the five date rule had replaced the three date rule for women in Britain, so maybe romance isn’t dead yet
