Imran Khan Out, Shehbaz Sharif’s Appointment As Pak PM Is A Early Warning Sign For India

April 11, 2022 (New Delhi): Pakistan’s Ex-PM, Imran Khan lost the no-trust vote late on Saturday, with 174 members in the 342-strong House voting in favour of the resolution against Khan. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president, Shehbaz Sharif who is currently the leader of the opposition in the National Assembly, is all set to become the next prime minister. On one side, Imran Khan left his seat but on another side, Pakistan Military is all set to run the country indirectly. With the present economic crisis in Srilanka which has left Lanka already burning into ashes, the geopolitical situation for India is seemingly becoming complex. FYI, The opposition has declared PML-N leader Shehbaz Sharif as the prime minister with the support of 195 members.
Meanwhile, Srilanka is burning with the worst phase of the economic crisis leading to the situation of Stagflation (where there is high inflation in the country due to high demand for goods and services but no production and economic growth becomes stagnant with no employment opportunities.) No doubt, Ukraine-Russia has brutally affected every single economy in the world. This is the time when the whole globe is in panic with the newly found COVID-19 variant and also with the hikes in fuel prices due to Ukrainian Crisis. NATO’S strategy, European Union, and the United States are also facing a cup of problems in supporting Ukraine eloquently. Amid all such global problems, Pakistan’s political crisis is not alienated from India as the Pakistani Army might create a military problem to take the attention away from this political crisis.
This reality can not be hidden from anyone that Imran Khan has not spent much time in Pakistan. Much of his time has been spent in Britain so he can’t figure out much about the worst situation in Pakistan. Imran Khan was also snubbed once in America and even he was not given an audience for his address. Pakistan always falls short in front of America. Coming to its relations with China, Pakistan always took huge funds from the superpower nation to run its government with the backup of terrorists and military after funding them as reported by many foreign security agencies. However, the ‘no confidence motion’ in Pakistan is a clear misrepresentation of Pakistan’s fickle democracy. Because democracy demands that this no-confidence motion goes through, as specified by the law, and goes through various stages.
During the no-confidence motion, The speaker of Pakistan, however, was on the side of Imran Khan; he quickly dissolved the Assembly and asked for re-election knowing the fact that Imran had the immense support of ‘Pakistani Awaam’. Contrary to this, when a no-confidence motion was brought against the then PM of India, Atal Vihari Vajpayee then he lost by one vote, he took it in his stride, accepted it as part of democracy, and moved on. After this India went through another election. This is a clear picture of what democracy looks like not a nation where strings of democracy and liberty are deeply centralized. The bottom line is clear that Military Rule in Pakistan has never been in favor of India. A recent example of General Pervez Musharraf under whom Pakistan suffered a humiliating defeat in Kargil and other generals faced the same impact while colliding with India. But their sole motive will become Kashmir and how can they fulfill their mission to capture the Kashmir valley. Pakistan’s Military is very fanatic and radical on the Kashmir issue so the coming of military rule in Pakistan can be seen as an early warning signal for India.
