Michael Phelps To Race Against White Shark?

Michael Phelps is so much talked over in the US. He splashed all over the media during the 2008 and 2012 Olympics. The world’s most decorated Olympian has technically retired, but he’s still in the news this time for something rather epic. Olympic athletes are pretty much sexy gods. They’re dedicated, at the peak of their physical fitness and they are singular heroes for their entire country.

As part of Discovery Channel’s annual Shark Week programming, they have somehow gotten the world’s most famous Olympia to race the most dangerous sea predator and that too on television, for some reason. Shark Week was first aired in 1988 to improve knowledge about sharks and help conservation efforts.
