Know why this 82-year old philanthropist winning hearts

You might be wondering about who is above mentioned (Prem Singh Dhingra) gentleman with such a noble quote. He hails from the engineering background. He is a Chartered Engineer. He has served Government of India, Himachal Pradesh and was sent on deputation to Sultanate of Oman. After serving GOI, he started electrical transmission line business with Omani friend and remained in Oman till 1993. In the year 1993, Prem Singh Dhingra returned to India. Same year he joined Rotary Internation to invest his prime focus towards social causes taking place in India.

From 1993 to 2021, he took active participation in the social causes done by Rotary International, Age Care India and other social organizations.

Then in the year 2020 he started a Public Trust, ‘Humanity Infinite’ as Chairman, which aims to uplift the livelyhood of underprivileged by all means like offering food, needy items and specially spreading awareness of feminine health and hygiene and distributing free Sanitary pads in Schools, Colonies and Camps.

He is the Associate member of PHD Chamber of Commerce based in Delhi. With PHD Rural Development Foundation (RDF) he has funded two water conserving check dams in Pali, Rajasthan in the name of his family. One goes by the name of Dhingra Check Dam while second is named Agya Prem Check dam. These dams are helping localites with water sustainability in normal and drought like situation and raising the water level adjoining these Check Dams.

Prem Singh Dhingra has joined hands with social enterprise SheWings to initiate a social cause across PAN India. The initiative aims to empower individuals with resources, knowledge, and skills that can positively transform their lives and ensure a good lifestyle. Essential lifesaving, health, and hygiene products will be distributed. In addition, educational sessions in schools, focusing on crucial topics such as menstrual health and hygiene, sustainability, e-waste management, and financial independence for women will be conducted.

According to Prem Singh Dhingra, there are lots of NGO’s and social enterprise working in India in different sector for needy people but still there is lot to be done on ground level.
Recently, he has finished writing a book ‘How To Be Happy With The People’ which is likely to be released very soon.
