Here’s how Arvind Kejriwal reacted on Amantullah’s arrrest

17 September 2022 (New Delhi): Amanatullah Khan, a Delhi Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA, has been placed in police custody for four days. It is been said that he is connected with an alleged Waqf Board corruption case. According to police, Khan’s close aide was arrested on Saturday after one unlicensed pistol and live cartridges were discovered in his possession. This comes a day after the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) arrested the AAP MLA in connection with a two-year-old case involving alleged irregularities in the Delhi Waqf Board.

Kejriwal expressed his rage at BJP

In response to the arrest of party MLA Amanatullah Khan, Delhi Chief Minister and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal said on Saturday, “It looks like they are suffering a lot in Gujarat.” This comes a day after the AAP MLA was arrested by the Delhi Police Anti-Corruption Branch. Kejriwal took to Twitter to express his opposition to Amanatullah Khan’s arrest, he said “First they arrested Satyendra Jain. Even after repeatedly asking in the court, they were unable to present any evidence. Then they raided Manish’s house, but nothing was found. Many more MLAs will be arrested now that after Amanatullah has been arrested.”

Kejriwal accuses the CBI and the ED

Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, claimed on Friday that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) were “unnecessarily troubling everyone,” and that he still didn’t know what the liquor scam was all about. During a press conference, Kejriwal stated that the Lieutenant Governor, CBI, and BJP had all quoted varying amounts of money involved in the alleged liquor scam, but he didn’t understand what it was all about.

CBI also asked court to cancel the bail of Tejashwi Yadav

The CBI asked a court in New Delhi on Saturday to cancel bail granted to Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav in the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) scam. Special Judge Geetanjali Goel issued a notice to Yadav on the probe agency’s application and requested a response by September 28. Meanwhile, Amanatullah Khan’s close aide and business partner Hamid Ali was arrested by the Delhi Police on Saturday under the Arms Act. Police recovered a pistol, bullets, and Rs 12 lakh in cash from his home.
