Insane: Hospital staffs made a newborn rap tap on beats
Racism once again took over on everything when US staffers Allyson Jeanette Thomson and Joanie Barrett from the naval hospital in Jacksonville made a newborn rap tap on beats. Without being considerate of their profession, Thomson along with her friend mishandled an infant on the basis of racism.
We come across a thousand stories of racism every day but this one is an exception as the baby was being humiliated because of her African-American lineage. Thinking it to be cool to call an infant ‘Mini satan’ the staffers shared few snapshots taken at the hospital premises. However, netizen criticized them badly for the inhuman behaviour and condemned the post shared on social media.
Thomson shared a couple of pictures of the baby on her Snapchat where she with her friend was caught showing ‘middle finger’ and using abusive language. The caption reads ‘How I feel about this mini satan.’ Accompanying her, a colleague named Joanie Barrett showed no difference attitude towards the newborn making him dance. Condemning the duo’s disgraceful action, their classmate Denisa Shellito calls it an incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable deed.
Exposing their ill-behaviour here’s how Denisa handled the incident:
She took the Snapchat screenshots and posted them on Facebook.
The post reads:
“UPDATE: “Naval Hospital Jacksonville’s commanding Officer sends: We are aware of a video/photos posted online. It’s outrageous, unacceptable, incredibly unprofessional, and cannot be tolerated. We have identified those involved– two junior enlisted corpsmen (not nurses). They have been removed from providing patient care and they will be handled by the legal system and military justice. We’ve notified the patient’s parents.”
She also requested the netizen to reach the administration in their every possible way to make sure that the culprits get sagged away from their jobs. The hospital administration handled the outrageous action with the legal system and military justice. They have further notified the patient’s parents.
The mishandling incident of a new-born got attention not just because of racism but it also raised public’s eyebrows on babies’ safety and security at the hospital.
