The World Cup cricket tournament is happening in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The matches will take place on October 14, November 4, and November 10, and the final on November 19.
For the match days, the police have shared some important traffic info. Roads will be closed and there are alternative routes to follow. The closures include Janpath T to Motera main gate and Krupa Residency T to Motera T. To get around these closures, you can use the following alternative routes:
- Tapovan Circle to ONGC Char Rasta to Visat T to Janpath T to Powerhouse Char Rasta to Prabodh Raval Circle.
- Krupa Residency via Sharan Status Char Rasta via Koteshwar Road via Apollo Circle.
To help people get to the matches, the metro service will run for longer hours during match days. Trains will be available from 6:20 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. After 10:00 p.m., only exit gates will be open at metro stations, except for Motera Stadium station and Sabarmati station.
For the matches, you can buy paper tickets for ₹50 each to avoid long lines. These tickets will let you travel to any station after 10 p.m. on match days.”
