30th August 2022 (New Delhi): Bollywood’s most awaited film ‘Brahmastra’ is all set for release. Alia Bhatt and actor Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in the lead role in this film. Apart from these two, a strong star cast like Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Nagarjuna, Deepika Padukone will also be seen in the film. Alia and Ranbir will be seen romancing on screen for the first time. The film will be released on September 9 next month. In such a situation, there is a demand to boycott the film on social media. Not only ‘Brahmastra’ but all the big budget films released before this film had to face the boycott trend. Its direct impact was also seen on the collection of the film.

Controversial statement of Ranbir Kapoor

Meanwhile, a video of lead actor Ranbir Kapoor is seen becoming increasingly viral on social media. It was seen in the video that Ranbir Kapoor is seen making a controversial statement. This is also being discussed on social media at this time. In this, Ranbir is seen saying, ‘I like to eat beef.’

Netizens’s reaction

After this video went viral, netizens brutally trolled him as one user said, ‘Boycott Brahmastra, Big beef cow, Ranbir Kapoor.’ One user wrote, ‘Beef eater Ranbir Kapoor is presenting our Hindu religion.’ Another said, ‘Ranbir Kapoor loves to eat beef. Will you still see Brahmastra?’ Another wrote- ‘Even if you are ashamed of being a Hindu then at least don’t support cow slaughter and don’t promote beef.’

Brahmastra will hit the theaters on 9 September 2022. It will release in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. The film is directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Karan Johar. Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy are the main staircast of the film alongwith Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone will be seen in cameo roles.
