17 September 2022 (New Delhi): Prime Minister Narendra Modi turns 72 today. Various dignitaries and politicians from around the world have already sent their best wishes. Among them is Russian President Vladimir Putin, who met with Prime Minister Modi on the side-lines of the SCO Summit 2022 on Friday. He addressed Modi as his “dear friend,” and said that he was aware about Indian prime minister’s birthday.

While the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and some individuals have planned to mark the prime minister’s birthday. PM Modi will go about his normal routine of fulfilling his national responsibilities. One of the highlights of his birthday will be the release of eight cheetahs from Namibia into the Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh by the prime minister at 10:45 a.m. The prime minister will first address the nation around 10:45 am on the historic occasion of cheetahs coming to India. Then he will speak at the women self-help group’s conference in MP at noon. After this the prime minister will address students at the first ever ‘Deekshant Samaroh’ of students from ITIs on the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayantiand, and in the evening, at 5:30 pm, he will launch the important National Logistics Policy and speak at the occasion. PM Modi will unveil the National Logistics Policy of the country that aims to reduce logistics cost to 8% of the GDP.

President congratulates the Prime Minister on his birthday

President Droupadi Murmu wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi a very happy birthday and wished him good health and a long life. The President also wished that PM Modi’s nation-building campaign, which he is leading with incomparable hard work, dedication, and creativity, would continue to progress.

Leaders from all political parties sent their best wishes to the Prime Minister Rahul gandhi was the first one among opposition to wish PM Modi. “Wishing PM Narendra Modi, a very happy birthday,” Rahul Gandhi tweeted, followed by birthday greetings from Shashi Tharoor and Sachin Pilot, among others. Other opposition leaders wished the PM a happy birthday on Twitter. AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal also sent his wishes PM Modi through Twitter.

This year, the app added the ability for users to include their entire family in a single greeting before sending it to the PM.
